No, unlike your traditional Brazilians, the Sorali straightening treatments do not coat the hair, straightening the strand from within. This allows all the goodness from professional aftercare products to penetrate the hair cuticle, making your hair healthier with time.

No, because the hair is not coated, a sulphate free shampoo is not necessary. However, we do urge you to use high end (hydrating and nourishing) aftercare, otherwise the treatment will not last.

Due to the porosity of the hair, we advise against it. We recommend doing a Sorali Botox treatment, alongside using high end aftercare treatments, in order to get your hair to the ideal condition before doing a Sorali straightening treatment.

Because Sorali treatments do not coat the hair leaving it with artificial shine, like most Brazilian smoothing treatments, it allows the hair to strengthen with time and absorb all the nutrients from your high end after care.

The Sorali straightening treatment is completely free of formaldehyde or any of its derivatives. The straightening agent used is Lactic acid and Lactobionic Acid (Therapy LISS).

Most traditional brazilian treatments contain formaldehyde and aldehyde derivatives, which leave tiny particles on the hair, coating the hair. These particles prevent water from touching the entire hair strand and therefore nullify the religious ablutions. Sorali straightening treatments do not contain any formaldehyde or aldehyde derivatives at all, therefore the hair is not coated in any way, hence it is completely safe for ablutions.

Not at all. You can wash your hair immediately if desired. However, we do urge you to use high end (hydrating and nourishing) aftercare, otherwise the treatment will not last.

It effectively restores, hydrates, will keep the hair smooth, healthy and strong. The Botox treatment can take up to an hour to complete and can last up to a month.
